Homeschool Unschool Australia! Autumn 2012

This issue focuses on home educating teens; defining what we do (natural learning, homeschooling, unschooling!); travelling and home educating; answering some of those pesky questions we all endure; some advice on planning and recording to help it make sense and become easier for you; plus our regular column curriculum corner with a spotlight on maths and LOTE, as well as resource roundup, what I'm reading, random musings, networks and support groups, bits and pieces.

Anyway, make a cuppa, find a pleasant spot in the garden or on a comfy chair and read a few articles, then come back and have another read in a few days.

$18 is all it costs to get regular reassurance, encouragement, advice, tips, links to resources for all things home educating in your letter box; $12 for the e-version. Where else can you get four issues of a magazine for that price?

Let my enthusiasm for home education revitalise you!

My adult children think it was the bees knees to have the freedom to learn in ways that suited their needs, personalities and preferences when they were kids. I am passionate about helping you feel okay, strong and committed to your choice to home educate your children because I want you to experience the same joy I feel now.

Welcome to the World of Home Education
and Learning without School!

We began educating our children in 1985, when our eldest was five. In truth, we had helped them learn what they need to learn since they were born. I am a passionate advocate of allowing children to learn unhindered by unnecessary stress and competition, meeting developmental needs in ways that suit their individual learning styles and preferences. Ours was a homeschooling, unschooling and natural learning family! There are hundreds of articles on this site to help you build confidence as a home educating family. We hope that your home educating adventure is as satisfying as ours was! Beverley Paine
